After the experience I had, there is no way that was going to happen. In fact they implied that it was somehow my fault I didn't receive the emails! Then they suggested I order a new fridge from wayfair over the phone. If it was out of stock, why was I not informed when I tried to purchase it to begin with?įurthermore, the customer support representative did not help me at all with the issue of not getting the emails to complete my account setup, or explain why I didn't receive the cancellation email. This was also extremely inconvenient for me because I have been living without a fridge for several weeks, because I was expecting to get a new one with a couple months. I was informed that my purchase had been cancelled because it was out of stock, and they had supposedly sent me an email informing me of that a couple weeks ago. I eventually tried replying to the confirmation email for my purchase, and I did get a response. And of course, I couldn't access the customer support form, because that requires logging in to your account. It said it sent an email to me with instructions, but I never received, not even in my spam folder. But when I tried to log in to wayfair to check the status, I found that yet again, I could was not receiving the emails to finish setting up my account. I got a confirmation email for my purchase, so I thought all was well. Unfortunately, my item couldn't be delivered until January, which was longer than I wanted to wait, but I could deal with it. So I ended up calling customer support, and they were able to help me order over the phone, and confirmed my email address. I wasn't able to check out because I never received the email to confirm my email address. On Black Friday I attempted to buy a refrigerator on wayfair.
